The Bitcoin bull market support band, which consists of the 20 week SMA and the 21 week EMA now ranges from $15.4k - $16.8k. This is the price level that Bitcoin would want to definitively hold on weekly candles to maintain the integrity of the bull market. Right now, we are very far away from this level and it will seem out of reach to many. We identify where this regression band predicts the global top to be (based on the midway point of the regression band), based on which year we can it there. The longer it takes for Bitcoin to reach the upper regression band, the higher it should theoretically go considering the logarithmic regression band of Bitcoin is a monotonically increasing function. We normally talk about weekly time frames, and moving averages that span much longer than 20 days. Generally speaking, we should not put too much importance on the 20 day moving average. However, in this video, we show it may be used to help give some insight into the market, whether we are entering short-term bearish waters, or simply entering a Bitcoin re-accumulation zone. If it is a Bitcoin re-accumulation zone, and Bitcoin volatility reduces, then this could pave the way for altcoins to rally. One of the leading International banking groups, Standard Chartered has taken its first step towards cryptocurrency. Its innovation arm, SC Ventures announced a partnership with Northern Trust to launch an institutional-grade custody solution for cryptocurrencies, called Zodia Custody. Many banking groups around the world have already ventured into crypto in some form or another. Reports suggest that crypto currently represented 0.3% of the world’s currency and bank deposits. The values are expected to grow with a Compound Annual Growth Rate [CAGR] of 32% from 2019 to 2024.

Zodia will provide institutions to invest in crypto, along with enabling transactions and settlement activities. As per the announcement, Zodia has been scheduled to go live by 2021.

When Zodia launches, it is set to provide custody services for digital assets like Bitcoin, Ethereum, XRP, Litecoin, and Bitcoin Cash. These digital assets account for almost 80% of the total assets

Historically speaking, the 20 week moving average has been Bitcoin's support line during a bull market. This is where the bulls come to hold the line in the event of a correction. Now that the price of Bitcoin is rallying, the 20 week MA is also rapidly pushing higher at approximately $400 per week. With this in mind, it would only take a couple more weeks to see the 20 week MA breaking into $13k territory. Always be aware of where this moving average is located, because holding it or breaking it can mean entirely different things for the market.
