The team tried to run three Interledger nodes connected to two blockchain testnets (Ethereum and Ripple XRPL: Party A, Interledger (acting as an intermediary node), and Party B. Party A sent Ether and Party B’s node received XRP, while a the third node acted as intermediary during the token exchange. To accomplish this, Party A with Ether needs to install a settlement engine to transfer Ether from Ethereum testnet to the intermediary node through settlement engine for ETH.

Ripple co-founder Christian Larsen and Chief Executive Officer Bradley Garlinghouse on Thursday asked a federal judge to block subpoenas sent to six banks seeking eight years worth information, saying the request is a “wholly inappropriate overreach” in a suit that doesn’t involve alleged fraud.

We present the total cryptocurrency market capitalization risk metric and discuss how overheated things currently are in crypto. Ethereum: The Overvaluation Re-accumulation Phase of a Lifetime (Part 3)

For Ethereum, we had the accumulation phase of a lifetime at $235, and the re-accumulation phase of a lifetime at $400. We discussed the highly anticipated "Ethuary" which was the ETH/BTC momentum shift in January, preceded by the Q4 bleed. Now we find ourselves in a similar position as before. Bitcoin was in price discovery again, corrected, and now has had a bounce taking it just above the 20D moving average. Bitcoin volatility has reduced some and the Ethereum bulls have returned. As a bullish sign for the altcoin market, the price of Bitcoin had a daily close above the 20 day moving average, which corresponded to just over $50k. Now that Bitcoin has closed at this level, we may expect to see some altcoins start to make some impressive moves. The price of Bitcoin is still in close proximity to the 20 day, so getting a little bit more separation from it would be ideal, but not a necessary condition for altcoins to make moves against Bitcoin.
