Bitcoin Price Headed to $1 Million and Ethereum $100,000, No Doubt Says Frank Holmes. Video by Stansberry Research.
Ethereum has more uses than Bitcoin or gold with many more applications currently being used, this according to Frank Holmes, CEO of U.S. Global Investors and Chairman of HIVE Blockchain Technologies.
"Bitcoin and gold bugs reap from the same old testament of history, of money printing," he explains to Daniela Cambone. "Bitcoin is on its own trajectory," Holmes says, "and we continue to mine Ethereum, but we are really expanding our bitcoin footprint at HIVE Blockchain."
He discusses the implications of Bitcoin's 21 million coin cap, and believes the rising value in blockchain and cryptocurrencies will follow Metcalfe's Law due to the nature of split investments.
"Every time there's an attack on Bitcoin, Ethereum by governments is because they're too slow," Holmes points out, as nations work towards centralized digital currencies. "I believe the most advanced, really, is China," he concludes.

We've entered upon something I've called "The Greater Depression," where inflation will get much worse, says Doug Casey, New York Times best-selling author and host of the Doug Casey's Take podcast. The value of the dollar and other currencies are being actively destroyed, he tells Daniela Cambone, at the fault of governments and central banks.
"The stock market is at an all time high, it's in a bubble," and the, "bond market is in a hyper-bubble," Casey explains as he shares why he is not participating in market action. "I think gold is going higher because it's the only financial asset that isn't simultaneously somebody else's liability," explaining that he sees a lot of upside in gold mining stocks relative to market value.
Casey predicts that the Chinese Yuan will be redeemable at some level with gold, "in an effort to make the Yuan the world's international currency." Causes of inflation have been in place for five to six years, where quantitative easing has been debasing the dollar, says Rick Rule, founder and CEO of Rule Investment Media. He warns that it's very hard to stop the spiral of distrust felt by people, generating concerns about currencies and government bonds.
