Bitcoin Analysis: Whale Buying, Long Term Outlook, And Weekly Levels

Bitcoin (BTC) is trading near $75,000 today, April 20, 2026, showing a slight recovery after a volatile weekend where it dropped nearly 4.3% . Despite geopolitical tensions weighing on risk sentiment, massive institutional inflows into spot ETFs—totaling nearly $1 billion last week—continue to provide a strong "demand floor".

Whales bought 270,000 Bitcoin in 30 days. That is 20 billion dollars and the largest monthly accumulation since 2013. BlackRock's IBIT holds over 800,000 BTC. Strategy added another billion last week. Exchange reserves dropped to the lowest level since 2017. But broader 30 day demand is still negative 63,000 BTC and Fear and Greed sits at 26. Institutions are buying into a market that most participants want out of. So the question is, are they early or are they wrong?

In this video I break down the two very different drivers behind this accumulation, show you the long term Elliott Wave outlook including a potential path to 700K plus, walk through the seasonality data for bear market years, and give you the key levels for the week ahead.
