Despite the choppy price action, core fundamental developments within the Ripple ecosystem remain robust.
• The $10B Arf Partnership: On October 22, Ripple signed a strategic deal with Arf, a major global settlement firm. Under this agreement, Ripple will leverage its RLUSD stablecoin to provide working capital and credit lines to licensed payment companies directly on the XRP Ledger (XRPL).
• Stablecoin Traction: The RLUSD supply has progressed rapidly, hitting $2.51 billion this month through expanded pilots with Mastercard, Gemini, and WebBank. Notably, the XRPL has flipped Ethereum as the primary home chain for RLUSD ($810M vs $756M).
• ETF Slowdown: While spot U.S. XRP ETFs historically cumulative over $1.4 billion–$1.8 billion in inflows, daily institutional buying has thinned recently. Analysts estimate that daily ETF inflows would need to scale above $20 million to catalyze a sustained rally back toward the $1.49 October opening price.
