Bitcoin Insights Today
1. The 10/10 Anniversary: A Tale of Rebuilt Liquidity
One year after the $19 billion wipeout, a newly published report by CoinDesk Research reveals that the market's inner plumbing has structurally improved. Order books for Bitcoin are significantly deeper today than they were prior to the 2025 crash, demonstrating a much larger influx of structural capital from professional market makers. However, this liquidity has failed to transfer to altcoins, which continue to struggle.
2. ETF Capital Volatility Clashes with Wall Street Buying
Spot Bitcoin ETFs suffered a severe blow earlier this week, losing over $731 million in net outflows over a two-day period (October 7–8). However, structural Wall Street accumulation remains strong. Public filings show Morgan Stanley added 92 coins to its portfolio this week (pushing its total stash to 10,639 BTC), while Fidelity's FBTC successfully absorbed $354.1 million over its last 20 trading sessions.
3. Macro Headwinds vs. Massive Corporate Stashes
Crypto-native firms are using unique methods to expand their reserves without depleting cash. Financial platform Strike raised $55 million through a new preferred stock issuance to purchase an additional 638 BTC, bringing its total treasury to 29,462 BTC ($2.4 billion). This buy-side behavior acts as a cushion against broader macroeconomic pressures, such as sticky U.S. Treasury yields, rising global oil costs, and capital moving toward the booming AI stock market.
